Corporate AI training and team events

Give your team a shared way to use AI.

People are learning different tools on their own. Managers are fielding the questions. The tools keep changing, and a shared plan is still missing. I bring your team together around the work your company actually needs to do.

Start with a 30-minute planning call with me. We agree the event scope, date, and fee afterward.

The work behind the questions

You need the learning to add up.

A few people are experimenting. Others are waiting for direction. Someone has to decide what the company should use, where it fits, and who checks the work.

I design the event around that gap. Your team practices together, works through real examples, and agrees on a useful next step.

  • Real workflows to practice on
  • Shared priorities across the team
  • Clear rules for information, review, and approval

A proposed workshop agenda

Bring the work into the room.

Here is a starting point for a hands-on team session. I adapt the exercises and pace after learning about your company.

The thread through the session:
Try it. Review it. Decide how to use it.

  1. Choose a real piece of work.

We map a familiar workflow, find the point that needs help, and define what a useful result would look like.

    Take away

A clear problem and a standard for good work

  2. Work through it together.

I demonstrate the approach, then your team tries it with approved examples. We compare how different instructions and context change the result.

    Take away

A workflow draft, prompts, and examples to reuse

  3. Learn how to judge the result.

We review accuracy, usefulness, and the places a person needs to stay involved. We agree what information belongs in the tool and what needs approval.

    Take away

A review checklist and practical team guardrails

  4. Decide what happens next.

We choose the workflows worth taking further, assign owners, and agree how your team will check whether the approach is helping.

    Take away

Shared priorities, owners, and next steps

Choose the right session

Different rooms need different work.

I can help shape a leadership session, a company learning day, a departmental workshop, or an ongoing program. We agree the format and scope before booking the event.

For leaders deciding where to focus

Leadership briefing

I help your leadership team connect AI capabilities to the work in the business. We examine opportunities, limits, and the decisions your people need from you.

For people doing the work

Hands-on team workshop

Your team practices on familiar tasks, with guided exercises and time to compare results. I build the session around the tools, experience, and workflows in the room.

For work that moves between teams

Cross-functional alignment

I bring the people on both sides of a workflow together. We work through handoffs, agree on shared priorities, and make responsibility and review explicit.

For teams that need to keep learning

Recurring AI updates

A separately scoped series to revisit your workflows as tools and needs change. I focus each session on what matters to your team and what deserves another look.

Before the event

I do the preparation with you.

A short survey gives me the team’s experience and questions. We select useful workflows, review the tools people can access, and agree which examples and information belong in the session.

You give me the business context. I turn it into the curriculum, demonstrations, and exercises.

After the event

The work has somewhere to go.

I pull the session’s templates, prompts, working examples, and next steps into materials your team can return to. The workshop includes a 30-day follow-up for the questions that appear when people put it to use.

A session recording is included with your team’s agreement. Recurring updates and further implementation are scoped separately.

Mike Hodgen
Mike Hodgen · Your facilitator

Business owner. Builder. In the room with you.

I teach from work I’ve had to run.

I co-founded a DTC fashion business and helped build a microfactory in San Diego. I built AI systems around product creation, content, pricing, and operations, with a real team depending on the work.

That is the experience I bring to the session: choosing useful problems, working through the details, and knowing where a person still needs to make the decision.

Planning the event

A few useful answers.

What happens when I book the planning call?

We spend 30 minutes discussing your team, the work you want to address, and the event you have in mind. I then propose the format, scope, and fee. The call does not reserve or purchase a training event.

What does an event cost?

Corporate AI training events start at $5,000. I scope the audience, preparation, session length, and follow-up with you. A recurring program has its own scope and price.

Can you work with different experience levels?

Yes. I use the pre-session survey to understand the people in the room and shape the exercises. Leadership decisions, first-time users, and experienced operators may need different sessions.

Can the event run remotely?

Yes. I offer in-person sessions in San Diego and remote sessions. Half-day and full-day workshops are available. We choose the format around the work and the audience.

What do we need to prepare?

A team contact, the goals for the session, and examples of the work you want to address. I confirm tools, access, and any license requirements before the event. We agree which information can be used in exercises.

What happens after the workshop?

Your team takes away the session materials, templates, and agreed next steps. The workshop includes a 30-day follow-up for questions. A recording is included when your team agrees to recording the session.
